I wish everyone who listens to my work could hear it the way I do in my studio. UA-cam...."the Tube"....thins it out, unfortunately, with their backend processing algorithm they use. Ughh!! So much more depth to these. But even with that. How good do Porter's audio engineered masterpieces still sound as exemplified here. .....the genius of Porter.....

Perfect sound! I first heard this song on the US version of Rubber Soul, and the sound quality here is more like the sharper Capitol sound than the often flat Parlaphone sound, it seems to me as a first impression. Maybe it's the lateness of the hour. 😂♥️ Anyway I like this song in spite of the Lennon disaffectedness. 😁

What a time it was to be alive I remember when this song first came out! I was about 13 years old then. This is one of my favorites by Three Dog Night, if not THE favorite! For some reason, I had this song running through my head all day even though I hadn't heard it in a long long time! Finally, I just had to come and look it up and listen to it! Just last night I discovered this Gary Lewis & The Playboys version of You Baby. I like it, though it is fairly similar to The Turtles' version. I am disappointed that GL&P's is not on iTunes and it is also not mentioned on wikipedia. Oh well, I can always hear it here on UA-cam. By the way, GL&P's album "Hits Again" is not on iTunes. I ask something that should have been included in this week's Scripps National Spelling Bee, "Whadup witdat?"
